New Exclusive Raku Collection | Orvi Innovatice Surfaces

Raku means “enjoyment”, “comfort” or “ease” and is derived from the word Jurakudai, the name of a palace in Japan. This technique of firing ceramics is quite unique and was traditionally used in Japan to get amazing metallic glazes onto ceremonial tea pots. Each tile in this collection is painstakingly hand glazed and fired in the same traditional way as has been done for centuries. The beauty of this collection lies in the fact that no two tile are same but still the overall effect is magical, not possible to achieve by any other medium.
